A speldid Hafralonsa salmon about to be released.
The Hafralonsa had a record season in 2008 and was truly the only river in the northeast and east to stump up a record in 2008. While the fishing was generally good in the region, there were no records in danger of being blown away.

Another one, about ten pounds, being put back in.
Except on Hafralonsa were the catch totaled some 600 salmon, its older record according to the rivers managers being 540 salmon. There were some very big salmon caught in Hafralonsa as usual, several exceeding the 20 pound mark, the specimens ranging from 100 to 105 cm in length.
