Solid start for Midfjardara
Midfjardara had a very solid start to the season, four were landed in the first day, today, and several were hooked and lost as the starting anglers found fish in various pools. In the evening witnesses saw a pod of grilse enter a pool on the lower Vestura, so they are obviously running.
„These were great looking fish, mws‘s 12-14 pounds. Two were landed on the mother river Midfjardara, one from Vestura and one from Austura. Three were lost on Vestura and one on Midfjardara, sp there was quite a lot of action,“ Rafn Valur Alfreðsson, the outfitter for Midfjardara, told us this evening.
