Sensational start to the brown trout season on big Laxa
The brown trout fishing above the dam at Bru on the big Laxa in Thingeyjarsysla started sensationally. The first group on the Myvatnssveit beat hauled out 250 browns while the group opening the lower Laxardalur beat finished with 123. Neither beat has seen such a good start for years and a lot of the fish were very big.
