 Or this one!

We recently has a group of Danish fly fishermen fishing the Litlaa up in the northeast. It is safe to say that they will be back. They fished the salmon beats of the big Laxá, plus Mýrarkvisl and Litlaa. They were very content on the two former despite needing to count their fingers following every shift due to the cold.

Browns are native to Iceland. They are not implanted as in some famous brown trout regions. These fish are the real deal.

But once they hit the Litlaa they were in paradise. During all normal conditions, all rivers would be producing extremely well. During cold weather conditions, Litlaa is more likely than others to produce, as hot springs empty into it, making it a growth paradise for brown trout.

We need not dwell on the matter, the pix you see here tell the whole story. So feast your eyes!
