Midfjardara

Miðfjarðará is one of Icelands very best salmon river and probably no other river in Iceland has as much milage per rod as does Miðfjarðará. It consist of four river. First the Austurá and Núpsá combine but keep the Austurá name, until Vesturá enters and from then on we have the mother river Miðfjarðará. As is to be expected the river system has tremendous variety.
