Nordura: Respectable total in a difficult season

The eleventh day of September was the last day of the season on Nordura. For most of the season, long draughts have ravaged the water levels, rendering the fishing „difficult“. The long wait for the autumn rains was though finally over....on the 11th of September. The conditions finally improved on the final day of the season!
Yet, the final total for the river is a very respectable 2.408 which is over the rivers average catch although pretty far off last seasons record catch of 3.308. But you cannot go along comparing everything to the record can you? That would not be fair at all.
So all in all, a good season on Nordura if it was in some ways a difficult one. This season was similar to some of the last several years in the way that there were long high summer draughts that saw the water levels plummet. Through the years anglers have gritted their teeth and waited for the late season rain which usually arrives just after the middle of August. This year though the weather gods left it very late, in Nordura‘s case, to late. The recent rainy weather has though injected some much needed vitality into many other rivers and we are easily looking at a great final push on the rivers, most of which are still open.
