The 2008 season was a very good one for Fnjoska. The seasons total turned out to be 495 salmon which is far over the last ten years average total of 290 salmon. 2007 exceeded the average as well, producing 346 salmon, but the record of 554 salmon remained intact.

Fnjoska had a good surge of mws salmon early on and the grilse runs were good. The fishing frittered out somewhat late in the season but some anglers nevertheless had their moments. The char fishing was average, which is ok really following several less than average seasons.
