Holkna had a fine season in 2008
A big one from Holkna last season.
Last season was one of Holkna‘s best ever according to the listed catch of some 150 salmon according to the new outfitter Lax ehf which happens to be one of our biggest clients.
150 salmon is a very good total for a two river rod in this region, also considering that the rivers of Thistilfjordur are thought to be prime examples of rivers that should have C&R deployed for better quality fishing. Holkna has not been a C&R river to this day but the new outfitters will turn it into one as of the coming season.
