Krossá is a charming petite river, you could almost call it a small stream rather than a river. It is in the central west Dalir region and happens to be an extremely popular choice for anglers looking for privacy and solitude in the embrace of family and friends.

Despite Krossá’s smallness it has a deceptively good and solid stock and bar devastating draughts the river will deliver. Krossá has diversities, rolling inland hills, birch covered shallow canyons lower down, many pools allowing fly fishing, others better shaped for worm fishing which is allowed on Krossá. To conserve the river however there is a modest quota.

Krossá has a charming little self catering lodge, set amidst the birches, an old, yet well kept and tended, red sheet iron building. Small and intimate. Perfect for many. It is a two rod river
