Tungua: 100 a good solid total

Tungua started rather slowly due to low water. The fish for the most part stopped in Grimsa, mostly in the junction. But there were rains now and then, so there was some good fishing in July and August. September had frequent flooding but good bouts of fishing in between. All in all the river produced 100 salmon compared to 85 in 2007. Anglers hunting for hatchery fish during late September confronted massed ranks of salmon all over Tungua as the junction in Grimsa pool was emptying.
